United Church Grand Opening

Join United Church on September 13 as we celebrate the grand opening of our newly renovated church home in Atlanta. Plan your visit and experience a place where you belong.

Not a Ribbon Cutting. A New Beginning.

“You are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God...”
— Ephesians 2:19–22

On September 13, United Church opens the doors to a new chapter.
After months of renovation, we're gathering for the first time in a fully completed space designed to help people connect with Jesus and each other. From a new entrance and atrium to expanded indoor and outdoor gathering areas, every part of the renovation was created with people in mind.

But this day is about more than a building.

It's about creating a place where people can belong, build meaningful relationships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus. Whether you've been part of a church for years or you're exploring faith for the first time, you're invited to be part of this moment.

The building may be new, but the heart behind it remains the same: helping people know they are welcome, known, and loved.

Why This Matters

A new space creates new opportunities for connection.

September 13 marks the beginning of a new season for United Church—one filled with fresh opportunities to invite friends, meet new people, and make room for those looking for a church home.

What to Expect

  • We'll have three new lots on campus. Our Parking Team will be outside to assist you on where to park. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before service to park and get settled in before service begins. We will also have accessible parking available in the new lot.

  • Absolutely! United Kids is available for infants to 5th grade, including our Haven ministry for families impacted by disabilities. Check-in opens 15 minutes before each service. United Students meet during the second service for middle and high schoolers. Your kids will be safe, known, and celebrated here.

  • Come as you are. Seriously. The only dress code here is: you're welcome.
