United Church Grand Opening

Join United Church on January 17, 2027 as we celebrate the grand opening of our newly renovated church home in Atlanta. Plan your visit and experience a place where you belong.

Not a Ribbon Cutting. A New Beginning.

“You are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God...”
— Ephesians 2:19–22

On MLK weekend, United Church opens the doors to a new chapter.
After months of renovation, we're gathering for the first time in a fully completed space designed to help people connect with Jesus and each other. From a new entrance and atrium to expanded indoor and outdoor gathering areas, every part of the renovation was created with people in mind.

But this day is about more than a building.

It's about creating a place where people can belong, build meaningful relationships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus. Whether you've been part of a church for years or you're exploring faith for the first time, you're invited to be part of this moment.

The building may be new, but the heart behind it remains the same: helping people know they are welcome, known, and loved.

Why This Matters

A new space creates new opportunities for connection.

January 17 marks the beginning of a new season for United Church, one filled with fresh opportunities to invite friends, meet new people, and make room for those looking for a church home. It will also be the anniversary of Renovation Church’s launch—our first church plant— and the same weekend our church story began.
