WHO WE ARE
A church where you can learn to practice the way of Jesus, whether you're new to church, have been a Christian for many years, or are looking for a fresh start.
More than just a place of worship, we strive to be a sanctuary of peace and unity in a world clouded by division.
Why We Exist
Uniting People to Jesus and Each Other
We all yearn for a sense of belonging and acceptance, especially when grappling with essential things like our beliefs. Our mission is clear. We exist to bridge the divides that characterize our country and our world. In our spiritual family, every soul finds its place, every voice is heard, and every heart is welcomed.
Our Story
In 2011, Pastor Léonce Crump Jr. set out to plant a church that reflected the promise of Revelation 7:9—where every nation, tribe, and people worship together as one. With a launch team of 35, Renovation Church held its first service at King Middle School in Grant Park, drawing over 100 people. From the start, we focused on reaching those far from God and building relationships in smaller group environments.
Now, in a new season, our story continues as United Church. With a new location, a “75% new” congregation, and a renewed focus, our mission is clearer than ever: to unite people to Jesus and each other. United Church is more than a name—it’s a commitment to being a place of hope, healing, and belonging for all under Jesus.
We believe God is calling us to even greater things in 2025. Click below to learn more about our 2025 vision.
We invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when the focus is simple, and people are free to seek God with passion.

Marks (Attributes)
When people are with Jesus in life-giving relationships, scriptural immersion and daily prayer, they become like Jesus through an unhurried life, fasting and focused attention. They bless like Jesus with a generous soul, a servant's heart, and the ability to reach one more.
