Back to School Bash

Because Every Child Deserves to Start Strong

Start the Year Strong

Back-to-school season can be overwhelming, especially for families facing financial strain. At United Church, we believe no student should start the school year without the tools and confidence they need to thrive.

That’s why we’re hosting our first-ever Back to School Bash—a free community event designed to bless families across Atlanta with practical help and joyful celebration. Whether you're a parent needing support or someone looking to serve, this day is for you.

Together, we can ease burdens, spark joy, and help every child feel seen and supported as they head into a new school year.

Pray With Us

We’re believing that this event will meet practical needs and change lives. Join us in praying for:

  • The families who will attend

  • The upcoming school year

  • A smooth, joy-filled day of service and connection

  • Yes, we ask that all families register in advance so we can plan well and make sure we’re ready to serve everyone who comes. Services and supplies will be available while they last, and registration helps us prepare enough for as many families as possible.

  • Any student in need, grades K–12. Backpacks are first come, first served.

  • Absolutely! The more, the merrier.

  • Not at all. This is for anyone in the community.

  • The event will continue—some parts may move indoors.
